Job summary

Bolton Clarke seeks a dedicated Cook for Heritage Lodge Murwillumbah to deliver nutritious meals and support kitchen operations in aged care. You will work under the Chef, preparing and presenting meals that meet residents' diverse needs, while maintaining high food-safety standards.

Requires Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least 1 year in a commercial kitchen; bulk cooking and texture-modified meal experience are desirable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or higher is required.
• Minimum one year in a commercial kitchen; aged care experience preferred.
• Bulk cooking experience is highly desirable.
• Experience preparing texture-modified meals is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take direction from the Chef and work with the kitchen team.
• Plan, prepare, and present nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general food preparation, kitchen duties, and stock control.
• Purchase and order food supplies and kitchen equipment as required.
• Ensure food is cooked and served in compliance with food safety standards.
