Job summary

Bolton Clarke Careers on the Sunshine Coast offers a Cook role in our aged care kitchens. You will deliver high-quality meals to residents and support the Chef with daily kitchen operations.

You’ll plan and prepare nutritious, well-presented dishes, assist with stock control, and ensure compliance with food safety standards in a caring, team-focused environment. Experience in texture-modified meals and bulk cooking is valued.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery completed.
• At least 1 year in a commercial kitchen (aged care or hospital preferred).
• Experience with bulk cooking and texture-modified meals is advantageous.
• Strong communication with residents, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chef guidance and work with kitchen team.
• Prepare nutritious meals for residents.
• Assist with general kitchen duties and stock control.
• Order food supplies and equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards.
