Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to support aged care refurbishment and development projects. You will work with clinical, operational, property and supplier teams to prepare sites for new spaces and operational handover.

You will coordinate readiness plans, checklists and post-occupancy reviews, organising furniture, equipment and final touches to ensure spaces are ready for residents and teams, while tracking priorities and milestones to keep projects moving.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating across multiple teams (clinical, operational, property) in a health or aged care setting.
• Ability to manage documentation, action registers and reporting for projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate commissioning activities across aged care refurbishment and new spaces, ensuring readiness plans and handover activities are in place.
• Collaborate with clinical, operations, property and supplier teams to ensure key requirements are understood and communicated.
• Organise readiness plans, checklists, action registers, site familiarisation and post-occupancy reviews.
• Arrange furniture, fittings, equipment, artwork and final project touches for residents, families and teams.
• Track priorities, risks and milestones to keep projects moving and escalate issues early.
