Uniting NSW.ACT is seeking a Team Leader for the Client Contracts Team to oversee the Newcastle and Unanderra units. The role involves leading a geographically dispersed team, ensuring accurate and timely residential aged care agreements and related financial documentation, with monthly travel to the alternate site.

You'll work closely with Finance, Revenues and Receivables, and external stakeholders to ensure compliant admission processes and service excellence across locations, fostering

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in the residential aged care sector.
• Experience leading teams in remote or hybrid environments.
• Experience in aged care administration, resident admissions, contractual documentation or financial processes.
• Applied knowledge of aged care regulatory requirements and Medicare subsidy claims processes.
• Strong customer service skills, with experience supporting residents and representatives through sensitive financial and contractual discussions.
• Ability and willingness to travel monthly between Newcastle and Unanderra; travel expenses covered by Uniting.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Client Contract Officer team and Client Residential Support Officer.
• Oversee preparation, negotiation and issuance of Permanent Residential Aged Care Residency Agreements.
• Ensure admission and residency documentation is accurate and finalised within regulatory timeframes.
• Support financial and contractual discussions with residents and representatives.
• Oversee follow-up of accommodation payments and account-related matters in collaboration with Finance teams.
• Drive continuous improvement and streamline workflows; champion standardised processes and technology.
