Job summary

UnitingCare is seeking a Commissioning Coordinator to support commissioning for aged care refurbishment and development projects. You’ll assist sites in preparing for new spaces, service changes and operational handover, coordinating with clinical, operations, property and supplier teams.

You will help organise readiness plans, checklists, handover activities and post-occupancy reviews while tracking priorities and milestones.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated understanding of clinical and operational service delivery within residential aged care, community services, hospital or healthcare environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage, interact and negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and maintain accurate project documentation, registers and reporting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously while managing competing priorities, with an interest in health and safety legislation, best-practice safety culture and growing project management skills through the UCQ Project Delivery Framework.

Responsibilities

  • Help organise furniture, fittings, equipment, artwork and final project touches so spaces are ready for residents, families and teams.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing people, plans and practical details together — whether that’s coordinating with clinical and operational teams, keeping project actions on track, supporting site readiness, or making sure the final touches are in place for residents and teams.If you have experience in aged care, health, facilities, project coordination, administration or stakeholder support, this role offers the chance to build on those skills in a busy and meaningful project environment.Please note, this position is offered as a 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension.
