Job summary

BlueCare in Gympie is seeking a Chef to prepare, cook and serve meals in alignment with dietary needs and food safety standards. You will support menu design and uphold quality with SOPs, while contributing to a not-for-profit culture.

The role requires a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery and at least 3 years of experience, with strong communication and attention to detail. Attractive relocation and rental assistance are provided in a permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant trade qualification Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Australia) or above.
• Have 3 years minimum experience as a qualified Chef.
• Great communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Understanding of Australian food and beverage standards.
• Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and serve food in adherence with dietary requirements with a strong focus on food safety standards.
• Support senior hospitality staff with menu design and implementation.
