Calvary in Norlane, VIC is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Chef to plan and prepare meals for residents, accommodating dietary needs and offering choice.

You will lead kitchen operations in the absence of management, collaborate with Clinical Leadership on dietary requirements, and ensure a clean, safe hospitality area. Applicants should have TAFE Hospitality or Cert III, bulk cooking experience, and aged care exposure, with food safety certification.

Qualifications

• TAFE Hospitality or Cert III in Food Studies completed or in progress.
• Experience in bulk cooking and meal preparation.
• Experience in aged care or healthcare settings.
• Ability to plan menus meeting Food Act and OH&S standards.
• Ability to order food within budget and control costs.
• HLTFSE001 or willingness to obtain certification.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare and oversee daily meals and beverages for residents with dietary needs.
• Lead the kitchen team in the absence of Home Manager or Chef Manager.
• Coordinate with Clinical Leadership on dietary requirements and interventions.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and a slip-free hospitality environment.
