Job summary

Calvary Care is seeking a Home Support Officer at Calvary Strzelecki House for a permanent part-time role. You will support the Home Manager with day-to-day admin tasks, serve as first point of contact for clients, residents and staff, and provide courteous reception and admin support.

The role emphasises high-quality customer service, strong organization, and teamwork, with opportunities for training and development within a large health care provider.

Qualifications

• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Commitment to providing high-quality customer service and a genuine interest in the elderly.
• Attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and effective time management skills.
• Proficiency in contemporary IT applications and platforms (MS Office, Teams, etc.), with a willingness to learn new ones.
• Proven organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide reception and administrative support for customers, residents and staff.
• Coordinate communications with residents, their representatives and stakeholders.
• Handle reception duties: phones, visitors, appointments.
• Record walk-in inquiries and respond appropriately.
