Job summary

Calvary Home Care in Cootamundra, Junee and surrounding areas is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to assist diverse clients, including aged and high needs, with daily living activities at home and in the community.

You will provide services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport, Meal Preparation, Medication Administration and Personal Care; this is a Permanent Part Time role, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support.
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence with comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Effective verbal and written communication with a customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Proficiency using smart phones, email and internet.

Responsibilities

• Assist diverse clients with activities of daily living at home and in the community.
• Provide Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite Care, Transport and Meal Preparation.
• Support with Medication Administration and Personal Care as required.

About the role

About you

• A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support
• Current and valid Driver’s Licence, Comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone
• Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
• Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
