Job summary

Kirinari Community Services is seeking experienced Aged & Home Care Workers to support older Australians to maintain independence, safety and connection in their own homes.

You will provide domestic help, personal care and companionship, working directly in clients' homes and communities. Join a team that values people, offers paid training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• A caring and person-centred approach.
• Excellent time management and reliability.
• Current Driver Licence and a reliable, insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR.
• National Police Check and NDIS Worker Check.

About the Role

You will support older Australians to maintain their independence and quality of life by assisting with:

• Domestic assistance (this is often the largest part of your day)
• Personal care
• Meal preparation
• Transport to appointments
• Shopping and errands
• Community participation
• Social support and companionship

You will work directly in clients' homes and communities, supporting them to achieve the goals that matter most to them.

• At least 2 years' experience in aged care, home care or community care
