Genesis Motors Australia is seeking an Aftersales Performance Manager on a 14-month parental leave contract to drive service excellence across our national dealer network.

You will monitor performance metrics, lead improvement plans, and coordinate dealer training, with strong analytics and stakeholder management to deliver exceptional customer experiences for a global luxury automotive brand.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years in automotive, ideally aftersales or dealer performance.
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Monitor aftersales performance metrics across the national dealer network.
• Develop and implement performance improvement plans for service efficiency and profitability.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on customer experience and workshop productivity.
• Coach dealerships through performance reviews and operational guidance.
• Oversee rollout of new aftersales programs, systems and tools.
• Identify capability gaps and coordinate dealer training and development.
• Develop Aftersales Coordinator through coaching and performance management.
• Provide regular reporting and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Technical, Warranty and Customer Experience teams.
• Contribute to national aftersales strategy and governance.

Join Genesis Motors Australia as our Aftersales Performance Manager and play a pivotal role in driving service excellence across our national dealer network. This 14-month parental leave contract offers the opportunity to lead aftersales performance programs, analyse business insights, support dealer capability development and influence customer experience outcomes for one of the world's fastest-growing luxury automotive brands.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Aftersales, you will work closely with dealerships and cross-functional teams to implement performance improvement initiatives, enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to national aftersales strategies. This role is ideal for an experienced automotive professional who combines strong analytical capability with stakeholder management expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences

About the Role

About you

You have the below skills and experience with a passion to develop your career with a luxury automotive brand.

• 5-10 years' experience within the automotive industry, ideally within aftersales or dealer performance functions.
• Proven experience managing and developing people and teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to drive business outcomes.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience producing meaningful performance reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive improvement without direct authority.
• Strong communication and relationship management skills with experience engaging dealer networks.
• Commercial acumen with the ability to assess business impacts and identify opportunities for growth.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred.
