Job summary

CHEP is seeking an engaging Afternoon Shift Supervisor to lead our production team at Kemps Creek Service Centre. You’ll be a visible floor leader coaching and supporting a frontline team to deliver safe, quality production outcomes while fostering an inclusive, high-performing culture.

Manufacturing experience is welcome, but proven leadership on frontline teams in logistics, warehousing, retail or manufacturing matters most.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
• Demonstrated people leadership, coaching and team development capability.
• Experience managing performance, attendance or employee relations matters.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• A commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
• Competent computer and systems skills.
• Qualifications in leadership, management, operations or a related field will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing a frontline production team on afternoon shift.
• Creating a strong safety culture where everyone goes home safe every day.
• Building team engagement, capability and performance through coaching and support.
• Driving production, quality and customer service outcomes.
• Managing shift operations, priorities and resource allocation.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
• Partnering with maintenance and operational teams to maintain efficient plant performance.
• Managing attendance, performance and employee relations matters in partnership with HR.
• Contributing to a culture of accountability, inclusion and operational excellence.
