Job summary

The After School Klub at The Junction Public School NSW is seeking a Service Manager to lead our before and after school care service. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive the delivery of high‑quality care for children and families.

This full‑time role requires strong leadership, staff rostering and programming skills, and a commitment to child wellbeing. You’ll partner with families, schools and local partners to maintain exceptional service

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent experience in childcare management.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification and commitment to maintaining these qualifications.
• Proven experience managing before and after school care with knowledge of National Quality Standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of before/after school care, ensuring a safe, welcoming environment.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, regulations, and standards including NQS and duty of care.
• Maintain records and reporting to meet regulatory and operational requirements.
• Enforce policies promoting child safety, wellbeing and development.
• Build relationships with families, schools, community partners and stakeholders.
• Manage staff rostering and programming.
• Respond to parent inquiries and address concerns professionally.
