Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Director of Product Development & Applications Africa to define and lead the regional technical strategy across Africa, with direct responsibility for application labs. You will partner with Commercial leadership to deliver technically robust, commercially viable solutions for beverage and Foodservice markets.

Lead greenfield initiatives, oversee lab networks, and shape regional organization design while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory

Qualifications

10–12 years in food & beverage with beverage applications, development and industrialization.
Experience leading multi-site regional technical teams and setting strategy.
Strong ability to translate business strategy into technically robust solutions.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement in a multicultural setting.

Responsibilities

Define and lead regional strategy for Africa aligned to ADM Human Nutrition priorities.
Govern African application labs, ensuring safety, quality, compliance and execution.
Partner with Commercial leads to translate pipeline into scalable solutions across beverage and Foodservice.
Lead greenfield initiatives: new labs, expanded capabilities, new operating models.
Build and develop a high-performing, multi-site technical team and foster cross-functional collaboration.
Travel 30–40% regionally to drive alignment and delivery.
