Job summary

Archer Daniels Midland Company is seeking a Senior Application Manager to lead the local application lab in Lagos and coordinate West Africa customer projects. You will mentor teams, align with sales, and drive end‑to‑end beverage development initiatives from concept through manufacturing.

The role requires strong leadership, 5+ years in food/beverage, and fluency in English, with travel across the region. French is advantageous.

Qualifications

BS or MS in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry or Pharmacist.
Minimum 5 years in the food and beverage industry.
Strong background in product development and beverage applications.
Beverage manufacturing experience.
Excellent project management skills.
Ability to shape organizational direction and lead change.
Fluent in English; experience supporting West Africa customers; French is a plus.
Strong communication skills.
Solid PC skills; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce.
Strong knowledge of Africa regulatory environment.
Willingness to travel extensively across the region.
Enthusiasm for innovative beverage/food solutions.
Collaborates effectively across teams.
