NSW Fair Trading is seeking an Advisor, Governance and Assurance to contribute to governance, risk, compliance, privacy, information management and business continuity activities. As an Advisor, Governance and Assurance, you will contribute to the delivery of governance and assurance practices across Fair Trading. You'll support the development and implementation of risk, compliance, privacy, information management and business continuity activities that strengthen organisational capability and reduce exposure.
You will work closely with business units to help translate governance requirements into practical, fit-for-purpose solutions, ensuring governance and assurance activities are embedded in day-to-day operations rather than treated as standalone processes.
This role offers the opportunity to build your expertise while contributing to a high-impact function that supports strong decision-making, accountability and performance.
The Governance, Assurance and Performance team plays a key role in enabling Fair Trading to deliver confidently, responsibly and with impact.
The team partners with business areas to provide practical governance and assurance support across risk, compliance, business continuity and reporting. The focus is on proportionate, outcomes-driven governance - helping teams understand their obligations, manage risk effectively and deliver on priorities.

Salary Grade 7/8, with the base salary for this role starting at 116,981 base plus superannuation
