About the Role
The Information Management team plays a critical role in supporting NSW Fair Trading across the Information Management functions of privacy, right to information, records management and reviewable decisions.
Reporting to the team’s Senior Advisor, Information Management – Privacy, this role will primarily contribute to the delivery of the team’s privacy management and support services, including working closely with business areas to provide advice in accordance with relevant NSW privacy legislation.
The role holder will also support the team’s reviewable decisions function as required, as well as contribute to broader project deliverables for the whole Information Management team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate routine privacy management activities to support the protection of personal information and the agency’s compliance with NSW privacy legislation.
  • Provide privacy and reviewable decisions advice and guidance to meet customer and stakeholder needs.
  • Support the assessment and review of privacy breaches.
  • Support the Information Management team with whole of team projects and deliverables.
  • Foster productive stakeholder relationships and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Salary Grade 0506, with the base salary for this role starting at 102,936 base plus superannuation
