Queensland Government's Biloela Maternity Service seeks an organised administrative and operational support officer to keep antenatal, birth and postnatal services running smoothly. You will manage reception, appointments and confidential records, while supporting staff and women and families with a warm, professional approach.
The role requires multitasking across records, referrals, billing and governance, plus coordinating supplies and service communications.

Our dedicated team provides woman-centred maternity care across pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period, with access to a dedicated birth suite, postnatal ward and antenatal clinic. Keep the wheels turning. Provide high-quality administrative and operational support across antenatal, birth and postnatal services, helping the Biloela Maternity Service run smoothly and efficiently.
Be the welcoming face. Coordinate reception, appointments, enquiries, telephone and switchboard services, providing friendly, responsive and confidential support to women, families, staff and other stakeholders.
Own the details. Manage maternity records, referrals, correspondence, clinical information systems, databases, reporting, billing and governance processes, making sure information is accurate, up to date and where it needs to be.
Make things happen behind the scenes. Coordinate supplies and equipment, monitor stock, organise repairs and maintenance, support service communications and community engagement, and help coordinate care and follow-up for private women and babies returning to the local area.
