  • $60,780 to $67,194 (pro-rata for part time) + salary packaging + super + 5 weeks annual leave

About the team

The Women’s is a centre of excellence for clinical care,researchand education with more than 7,000 births per year. The Obstetric Medicine Department provides the medical services of the Women’s Hospital. Our major area of focus is the medical care of women before, during and after pregnancy.

We work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and liaise with midwives, other medical specialists, allied healthpractitionersand primary care. We provide care to women from a certain geographical area and to higher risk women outside the local area.

About the role

The Admin Officer support – Childbirth Education and Pregnancy clinic will be responsible for the provision of customer service and administration services within Childbirth Education and Pregnancy Clinics. Providing friendly and welcoming customer service to women and their families, delivering high quality data entry, word processing and general administration and ensureefficient and effective service operations by performing all the responsibilities related to:

  • Booking, scheduling and registration of women for Childbirth education and Pregnancy clinics
  • Facilitating real time patient movement through the use of IPM and EPIC, ensuing that accurate information and records are maintained
  • Assisting in all aspects of reception duties
  • General administration including scanning, photocopying, filing and word processing
  • Ordering and restocking supplies as required

You are highly organised and proactive person that is committed to providing essential administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of services to women, families and the multidisciplinary team.You demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills, enabling you to effectively coordinate administrative processes and contribute to the day-to-day operation of service within Childbirth Education and Pregnancy Clinics.
