Job summary

RecruitShop in Sydney is seeking a proactive Inside Sales/Customer Service professional to join our team in Homebush West. This full-time office role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm, offering exposure to customer service, telesales, and account management within an NSW territory.

You will handle inbound enquiries, process orders in the ERP, promote products, and grow sales by maintaining relationships and identifying opportunities across existing accounts.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of proven experience in internal customer service or telesales.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional and helpful approach.
• Confidence proactively contacting customers and identifying sales opportunities.
• Ability to manage customer enquiries, orders and account-related questions.
• Strong attention to detail when maintaining customer and order information.
• A collaborative approach with integrity, professionalism and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Receive customer calls and emails and convert enquiries into sales orders within the ERP system.
• Process online orders and coordinate with the operational team through to completion.
• Handle customer enquiries relating to orders, invoices, products and general account matters.
• Proactively contact existing telesales customers according to an agreed call schedule.
• Introduce new products and identify opportunities to increase sales across existing accounts.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer information within the company database.
• Promote use of the online webstore while continuously developing your product knowledge.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to provide responsive customer service while processing orders, managing enquiries and proactively supporting sales growth across an established NSW customer territory.

Working closely with the wider team, you will manage inbound customer enquiries while proactively contacting existing customers to promote products, increase spending and maintain strong ongoing relationships.
