Job summary

Sonic Human Resourcing Pty Ltd is seeking a Level 2 Desktop Support Technician for Tuggerah or Erina. In this casual role, you will provide ad hoc technical support and resolve complex issues for our customers.

You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, setup new equipment, train users, and document activities. The role requires 2+ years in desktop support, strong problem-solving, good communication, and knowledge of Windows/Office 365; CompTIA A+ desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a desktop support or IT helpdesk role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Office 365, and common business software applications

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
• Completing scheduled Health checks
• Provide remote and on-site support to users, including setting up new equipment and training on software applications
• Maintain and update IT systems, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate IT specialists and work collaboratively to find solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of all support activities
• Assist with the implementation of new technologies and tools to enhance the user experience
