Job summary

ASAP Fire Protection Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Assessor to join our NSW team. The successful candidate will conduct fire safety inspections, prepare Fire Safety Statements, and ensure buildings comply with NSW fire safety legislation and standards.

The role suits someone who is detail-oriented, professional, and confident working independently while maintaining strong client relationships. A current NSW driver’s licence and accreditation as an FSA are essential.

Qualifications

• Accredited Fire Safety Assessor (FSA) in NSW is essential.
• Strong knowledge of NSW fire safety legislation and NCC/BCA.
• Experience conducting fire safety assessments and inspections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Current NSW driver’s licence.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Annual and Supplementary Fire Safety Inspections
• Assess fire safety measures in accordance with NSW legislation and relevant Australian Standards
• Prepare and issue Fire Safety Statements (AFSS & SFSS)
• Liaise with building owners, strata managers, councils, and contractors
• Identify non-compliances and provide clear, practical recommendations
• Maintain accurate records and inspection reports
• Ensure all work meets legislative and company quality standards
