Job summary

CMS CONSULTING PTY LTD is seeking an experienced Fire Safety Consultant to plan, manage and coordinate all phases of Annual Fire Safety Statements across Sydney. You will conduct fitout reviews and oversee inspections and certifications of Essential Fire Safety Measures while liaising with clients, owners, managers, certifiers and regulators.

The role requires accreditation as an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety), strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards,

Qualifications

• Accreditation as an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety).
• Solid knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Excellent organisation and time management; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Current driver’s licence.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an experienced and enthusiatic Fire Safety Consultant to join our team. You will undertake a variety of fire safety compliance, inspection, reporting and consulting activities, including

Plan, manage and coordinate all phases of Annual Fire Safety Statements

Conduct fitout reviews, focusing on fire safety

Inspection and certification of Essential Fire Safety Measures

Effectively liaise with clients, building owners, managers, certifiers, fire contractors and regulatory authorities

Review Engineered Solutions and Occupation Certificates and assess the Fire Safety Schedule accordingly

The successful candidate will possess

Accreditation as an Accredited Practitioner (Fire Safety)

Sound knowledge of the Building Code of Australia and Australian Standards

Strong report writing and communication skills

Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects

A current driver's licence

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
