Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a growing, multi-site business to hire an Accounts & Reporting Officer who will own the end-to-end accounts payable, support financial reporting, and help ensure robust finance processes across sites.

This hands-on role in a multisite retail/hospitality setting offers close collaboration with senior management and the opportunity to impact business performance through accurate reporting and budgeting.

Formación

• Detail-oriented accounts role with focus on accuracy.
• Experience with XERO, MYOB or QuickBooks essential.
• Experience in hospitality/retail multi-site advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Qualification in Accounting/Bookkeeping required.

Responsabilidades

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable, invoices, supplier payments and AR.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports.
• Support annual budgets, forecasts and expenditure analysis.
• Monitor performance against budgets and investigate variances.
• Reconciliation of daily takings and online revenue.
• Provide accurate financial information to support decision making.

What you’ll do:

• Manage end to end accounts payable, including invoice processing, supplier payments and accounts receivable
• Prepare regular financial and management reports to provide visibility across business performance
• Support development of annual budgets, forecast and expenditure analysis
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, investigate variances and identify trends
• Reconciliation of daily takings and online revenue and investigate discrepancies
• Provide accurate financial information and insights to support management decision making

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounts officer, finance officer or similar role
• Confidence using accounting systems such as XERO, MYOB and Quickbooks
• Experience in hospitality, retail or a multi site environment will be advantageous
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with supplier, operational teams and senior management
• High level of accountability, reliability and ownership when managing financial information and processes
• A certificate IV, Diploma or tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping
