Job summary

Woods & Co Recruitment is partnering with a growing, multi-site business in Australia to recruit an Accounts & Reporting Officer. You will own end-to-end accounts payable, support financial reporting and help drive budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced environment across hospitality and retail sites.

This role offers ownership, exposure to senior management, and the chance to contribute to business performance through accurate financial information and proactive analysis.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in an accounts officer or similar role.
• Experience with XERO, MYOB and QuickBooks.
• Experience in hospitality, retail or multi-site environments preferred.
• Certificate IV or higher in Accounting, Finance or Bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable including invoices, supplier payments, and receivables.
• Prepare regular financial and management reports for visibility on performance.
• Support development of annual budgets, forecasts and expenditure analysis.
• Monitor performance against budgets, investigate variances and trends.
• Reconcile daily takings and online revenue and investigate discrepancies.
• Provide accurate financial information to support management decisions.
