Job summary

Capitaltpartners on the Sunshine Coast is seeking an Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager to lead a small credit team and manage client relationships both internally and externally. The role emphasizes debt management, reconciliations, and regular reporting.

You will direct credit assessment processes, set KPIs for the team and collaborate with senior management to ensure optimal performance and strong client service. Office-based role with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial credit background with AR/credit manager experience.
• Excellent Excel and broader IT skills.
• Exceptional communication with staff and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts.
• Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs, mentor and develop team members.
• Operational Direction: Provide hands-on management and direction to the credit team.
• Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and monthly/year-end reporting.
• Assessment: Own the credit assessment process and approve limits.
• Collections: Oversee escalation of debt with external parties.

We are searching for an Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager based on the Sunshine Coast with a leading company managing a small team of credit professionals, with a strong emphasis on client relationship management.

This role is a blend of managing client relationships internal and external, staff, analysis and debt management.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with major client accounts, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
• Team Leadership: Set goals and KPIs for the team, mentor and develop team members to ensure optimum performance.
• Operational Direction: Provide hands‑on management and operational direction to the credit team.
• Reconciliations & Reporting: Oversee reconciliations and produce monthly and year end reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Assessment: full control and director of the credit assessment process -approval of limits etc.
• Collections: Discuss escalation of debt and referral and management of process with external parties

Qualifications

• Experience: Strong commercial credit background with previous Accounts Receivable/Credit Manager experience.
• Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, proficiency in Excel and other computer skills.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with staff, internal divisions, and external customers.
• AICM Membership preferred
