Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable professional to join our Head Office Accounts team in Queensland. The role focuses on receipting, reconciliation of key accounts, and debt collection, with daily bank reconciliations and journal adjustments.

The successful candidate will have strong Excel and Outlook skills, data-entry accuracy, and the ability to thrive in a team environment under pressure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role with high volume debtors.
• High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work within a team environment and priorities work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Verify and process credit and limit increase applications

• Dispute resolution, assist and support team with other ad hoc accounts tasks as required

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an ambitious, energetic team member to join our Head Office Accounts team, you must have previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role with high volume debtors.

The role

• Receipting & Allocation of payments
• Reconciling statements for key accounts
• Collection of Monies outstanding
• Daily bank reconciliation including journal adjustments
• Reconciliation of clearing accounts including cash, Amex, Afterpay etc
• Reconciling online purchases and payments
• Verify and process credit and limit increase applications
• Ongoing management of Debtor records and compliance with Debtor insurance
• Dispute resolution, assist and support team with other ad hoc accounts tasks as required

Ideally you will have or be

• High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable Role
• Experience with Microsoft office applications such as Excel and outlook
• Ability to work within a team environment and priorities work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
