Job summary

Sunshine Mitre 10 is seeking an ambitious team member for our Head Office Accounts team with experience in high-volume Accounts Receivable. You will manage receipting, allocations, reconciliations and collections in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with Excel and Outlook, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to ongoing improvements in processes to support the business across Queensland. This role offers career growth within the Sunshine Mitre 10 Group.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Accounts Receivable role with high volume debtors.
• Strong reconciliation experience.
• Proficient with Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Receipting and allocation of payments.
• Reconciling statements for key accounts.
• Collection of monies outstanding.
• Daily bank reconciliation including journal adjustments.
• Reconciling clearing accounts (cash, Amex, Afterpay, etc.).
• Reconciling online purchases and payments.
• Verify and process credit and limit increase applications.
• Ongoing management of debtor records and insurance compliance.
• Store audits.
• Dispute resolution and support for ad hoc accounts tasks.

Job description

A fantastic opportunity has opened for an ambitious, energetic team member to join our Head Office Accounts team, you must have previous experience in an Accounts Receivable role with high volume debtors.

The role

• Receipting & Allocation of payments
• Reconciling statements for key accounts
• Collection of Monies outstanding
• Daily bank reconciliation including journal adjustments
• Reconciliation of clearing accounts including cash, Amex, Afterpay etc
• Reconciling online purchases and payments
• Verify and process credit and limit increase applications
• Ongoing management of Debtor records and compliance with Debtor insurance
• Store audits
• Dispute resolution, assist and support team with other ad hoc accounts tasks as required

Ideally you will have or be

• High level of data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Receivable Role
• Strong reconciliation experience
• Experience with Microsoft office applications such as Excel and outlook
• Ability to work within a team environment and priorities work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
