Job summary

Harvey Norman Global Pty Limited in Stapylton on the Gold Coast is seeking a permanent Accounts Receivable Clerk for a full-time, on-site role. You will support the Finance Team with debt collection, reconciliations, and customer enquiries, using Microsoft Dynamics ERP and our in-house systems.

This position offers training, exposure to multiple software platforms, and opportunities for career progression within a prestigious retail group.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable or similar role, with double-entry knowledge considered.
• Strong financial analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to multiple software platforms and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Processing and refunding credit card transactions
• Reconciling incoming funds and allocating customer payments
• Debt collections via phone and email
• Processing monthly debtor statements
• Maintaining debtors' profiles
• Managing trade credit insurance reporting, claims and renewals
• Responding to and investigating customer inquiries promptly
• Meeting reporting deadlines for AR functions
• Reporting to the Financial Controller or Proprietor on debt collection status
• Supporting the Finance and Sales teams

We have an exciting opportunity for a permanent full-timeAccounts Receivable Clerkbased inStapylton, Gold Coast. This is a pivotal role in the Finance Team which offers excellent career development and progression opportunities. This position requires working 100% onsite and you will be trained to use our Microsoft Dynamics ERP and in-house customised systems.

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Processing and refunding credit card transactions
• Reconciling incoming funds and ensuring correct allocation of customer payments
• Debt collections (via phone and email)
• Processing monthly debtor statements
• Ensuring debtors' profile are up to date
• Managing trade credit insurance reporting, claims and renewals
• Responding to and investigating customer enquiries in a timely manner
• Managing reporting deadlines for the Accounts Receivable functions
• Reporting to the Financial Controller and/or Proprietor on debt collection status and risks exposure
• Supporting the Finance and Sales teams

To be successful in this role, ideally you will have:

• Prior working experience in similar role (Candidates without prior working experience will be considered if you have solid double entries knowledge)
• Excellent financial analytical skills
