Job summary

Hume Doors & Timber in Victoria is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join its finance team. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys accurate administrative work, working with numbers and supporting customers and colleagues.

While prior accounts experience is welcome, a willingness to learn and a proactive attitude are just as important. You will handle daily banking, reconcile customer accounts, and assist with month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and administration skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Confident numerical skills and sound proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other computer applications.
• Clear, professional communication and a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines and work both independently and collaboratively.
• A reliable, proactive attitude and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping or a similar role is desirable but not essential.
