Job summary

Engineering Applications Pty Ltd, a Brisbane-based mechanical engineering firm, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Officer to join the Finance team in Hemmant. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, and reports to the Financial Controller.

You will handle invoicing, debt collection, bank reconciliations and stakeholder liaison, supporting a high-performing finance function in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts receivable and administration.
• Proficient with MS Excel and common accounting software.
• Strong numerical and data-entry accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly invoicing.
• Manage debt collection and follow-up with clients.
• Liaise with project coordinators regarding invoicing and collections.
• Perform daily bank reconciliations.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide accounting support to the Financial Controller.
• Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks.

Accounts Receivable Officer | Administration Team | Full Time

Engineering Applications is a Brisbane-based mechanical engineering firm leading in the Design, Fabrication, Installation and Maintenance of process plant & equipment for the mining, food, industrial and manufacturing sectors.

Due to organisation growth, we are looking to engage the services of an experienced Accounts Receivable & Accounts Officer to join our experienced finance team in Hemmant. The role will be full-time Monday to Friday.

The successful candidate will join a thriving company with a high performing and multi-skilled finance and administration team.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following;

Key Responsibilities

• Weekly and monthly invoicing
• Debt collection
• Liaising with project coordinators regarding invoicing and collection matters
• Daily Bank reconciliations
• Management of relationships with suppliers and relevant stakeholders
• Provide accounting support to the Financial Controller
• Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
