Job summary

Universal Store is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at the Eagle Farm Support Office. You will manage end-to-end AP processes across multiple brands, ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing and reconciliations.

The role offers hybrid working from home, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and opportunities to streamline processes within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable or Finance Administration.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and reconciliations.
• Excellent attention to detail in high-volume processing.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable for multiple brands.
• Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Perform invoice and statement reconciliations; investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder enquiries; maintain relationships.
• Prepare and process creditor payment runs.
• Support month-end activities including accruals and reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records and internal controls.
• Identify process improvements to streamline AP.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations and Support Office teams.
• Provide administrative support to the broader Finance team.
