Job summary

The NEX Building Group is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance team at our Newcastle, NSW location. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader, you will ensure accurate processing of supplier invoices across multiple entities and support month-end activities.

Key skills include experience in high-volume AP, strong data accuracy, excellent Excel and ERP system familiarity, and superb communication to liaise with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounts Payable or similar finance role.
• Ability to process high volumes of invoices.
• Attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and timely across entities.
• Respond to vendor and stakeholder enquiries professionally.
• Run weekly payment runs and reconcile supplier statements.
• Maintain accounts payable records and support month-end processes.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
