You will reconcile subcontractor invoices, manage high-volume processing, and use Excel for reliable reconciliations and reports.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and invoice processing.
• Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills, including the ability to recognize inconsistencies and investigate their causes.
• Practical intermediate Microsoft Excel skills: SUMIFS, XLOOKUP or equivalent lookup functions, Pivot Tables, sorting and filtering, and basic data validation.
• Ability to work across multiple worksheets and produce repeatable, reliable reconciliation calculations.
• Ability to manage high-volume invoice processing, exceptional organization and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience reconciling subcontractor invoices, exposure to construction or project finance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Handle the day-to-day processing of invoices with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Ensure all invoices are matched accurately with corresponding purchase orders and delivery dockets.
• Reconcile subcontractor invoices against timesheets, agreed labour rates, hours worked and project codes.
• Use Excel across multiple worksheets to compare source records and build repeatable, reliable reconciliation calculations, summaries and exception reports.
• Maintain systematic recordkeeping by managing the Account/Subcontractor inbox and organizing electronic copies of invoices.
• Obtain necessary authorisations for invoices and payments in a timely manner.
• Prepare payments accurately and adhere to established timelines.
• Conduct thorough account and statement reconciliations to uphold financial accuracy.
• Respond promptly and efficiently to Accounts Payable queries.
• Cultivate positive relationships with vendors through clear and transparent communication channels.
