Reo Group is seeking an Accounts Payable/Payroll Officer on a part-time, school-hours basis in Sydney's Strathfield area. The role covers end-to-end AP processing with occasional payroll support and requires accuracy in high-volume environments.

It offers a stable, hands-on finance position within an educational organisation. You will work five school hours across five days, with an immediate start opportunity and a competitive hourly rate of $40–$45 plus super.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume accounts payable.
• Some payroll exposure preferred.
• Ability to work school hours and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable from invoice receipt to payment.
• Perform invoice matching, coding, and data entry at high volume.
• Process weekly and monthly payment runs accurately and on time.
• Reconcile supplier statements and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain vendor records and data integrity across systems.
• Respond to supplier queries and build positive relationships.
• Assist with month-end AP reporting and reconciliations.
• Support process improvements within the AP function.
• Provide payroll administration support during peak periods.
