Job summary

Cold Link Australia, Adelaide depot, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Payroll Finance Officer to join our dynamic team. The full-time role is based in Cavan, South Australia, working closely with the Financial Controller and Client Services Manager to manage all aspects of accounts payable and payroll.

You will reconcile bank statements, process supplier payments, code invoices in QuickBooks (transitioning to Jaix), and assist with monthly accruals.

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts payable and payroll administration.
• Ability to reconcile bank statements and supplier accounts.
• Experience with QuickBooks and Xero is required.
• Familiarity with transport management systems is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements daily and monitor cash flow.
• Process payroll, superannuation, and related employee entitlements.
• Load and code creditor invoices into QuickBooks accurately (transitioning to Jaix).
• Prepare and process creditor and sub-contractor payments.

Accounts Payable / Payroll Finance Offier

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Payroll professional to join our dynamic team at Cold Link Australia (Adelaide depot). The full time role is based in Cavan , South Australia.

About the role

Working closely with our Financial Controller and Client Services Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function and payroll, ensuring efficient and accurate financial record-keeping for the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile bank statements daily and monitor cash flow
• Obtain receipts for credit cards spend and reconcile weekly
• Process payroll, superannuation, and related employee entitlements
• Load and code creditor invoices into QuickBooks accurately (transitioning to Jaix)
• Assist with monthly creditor expense accrual
• Prepare and process creditor and sub-contractor payments
• Request and reconcile creditor statements at the end of each month
• Pricing contractor / sub-contractor manifests and SPA's
• Process credit applications from Suppliers
• Handle enquiries from Suppliers
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and accounting standard
• Work well with internal staff to problem solve and support employees with all payment queries
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Confident using Microsoft Office across all applications
• Experience with using Jaix or any similar Transport Management System is preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with Quickbooks and Xero or similar online platforms is required
• You may be required to support accounts receivable functions at times during peak or holiday periods which may involve payment allocation and reconciliations
• The role also includes general administration duties and supporting the bookings and operations team as required.
