Job summary

NETA Tyre Service & Sales in Brisbane, Australia, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our finance team. The role offers either full-time or approx. 27.5–30 hours per week, with school hour flexibility for part-time applicants.

Reporting to the CFO, you will support accounts receivable and broader finance tasks within a collaborative workplace. No extensive accounting experience is required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable, organised and able to manage routine tasks.
• Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
• Willing to learn and take responsibility for their work.

Responsibilities

• Process customer credit applications.
• Complete credit reference checks.
• Set up new customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate customer information and records.
• Allocate customer payments and receipts.
• Assist with customer account reconciliations.
• Respond to customer account and payment enquiries.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Team.
