Job summary

Harvest Road Group in Perth's CBD is seeking an experienced Accounts Administration Officer for a full-time, 12-month contract in our Finance team. You will ensure accurate processing of AP/AR tasks and support supplier payments and customer cash collection.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a similar role, strong Excel and MS Office skills, and a proven ability to work under pressure, prioritise work, and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely processing of high-volume supplier invoices daily
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements
• Processing of daily invoicing to customers

• Communicate with stakeholders across entities on queries
• Perform standard AP/AR tasks including data entry and month-end reconciliations
• Maintain master files and security of financial data
• Ad hoc tasks as required

The Opportunity:

We have a full-time , 12-month contract opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administration Officer to join our Finance team, based in Perth's CBD.

A key focus of this role will be to ensure that all key administrative tasks within the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions are completed accurately and in a timely manner, supporting efficient supplier payment processing and effective customer cash collection.

The role:

• Accurate and timely processing of high-volume supplier invoices daily.
• Daily reconciliation of bank statements.
• Processing of daily invoicing to customers.
• Coordinate work priorities to achieve agreed service levels and standards.
• Communication with key stakeholders from various entities within the group on queries.
• Standard AP and AR tasks, inter alia; data entry, responding to queries, month end reconciliations, maintenance of master files.
• Maintain security and confidentiality in all aspects of the accounts function.
• Ad hoc tasks, as required.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience using computerised financial systems and MS Office applications, specifically Excel.
• Proven punctuality, reliability, honesty, and high level of accountability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective time management, task prioritisation and organisational skills.
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise and cope under pressure.
• Ability to work as a team, as well as autonomously.
• Successful applicants will be required to pass a pre-employment medical examination and criminal record check.
