We are seeking a reliable and experienced All-Round Accounts & Administration Officer to join our small and friendly team.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is confident managing a broad range of accounts, payroll and general office administration responsibilities.
The position is approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility around school drop-off and pick-up times. There is potential to tailor the hours for the right candidate.

You will be responsible for a variety of day-to-day bookkeeping, payroll and administration functions, including:
Processing supplier invoices and ensuring they are correctly coded and approved
Preparing and processing supplier payments and payment batches
Maintaining accurate supplier records
Responding to supplier queries and reconciling supplier accounts
Preparing and issuing customer invoices
Processing and allocating customer payments
Following up outstanding accounts and maintaining accurate debtor records
Managing customer remittances and account queries
Processing weekly payroll using MYOB AccountRight
Maintaining accurate employee payroll records
Managing payroll-related administration and reporting
Bank and credit card reconciliations
Assisting with month-end accounting processes
Maintaining accurate financial records
General bookkeeping and accounting support as required
General office administration and support
Ordering and maintaining office supplies
Managing Portable Long Service Leave requirements
Completing annual TPAR reporting
Providing general administrative support to the business
You are an all-rounder who enjoys variety and takes pride in getting things done accurately and efficiently.
You will be organised, reliable and comfortable working independently in a small business environment. You will also understand the importance of confidentiality when dealing with payroll, employee information and financial matters.
Ideally, you will have:
Previous experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll
General bookkeeping or accounting experience
Experience processing payroll using MYOB AccountRight (preferred)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
A proactive, hands-on approach and willingness to assist wherever needed
High levels of integrity, confidentiality and professionalism
Experience working in a construction, building, manufacturing or trade environment would be an advantage, but is not essential.
