Job summary

Clear Software is seeking an Accounting Software Support Specialist to blend bookkeeping knowledge with technology and customer service on the Gold Coast.

In this role you will help customers get the most from our accounting software, investigate issues, guide users through features, onboard new clients, and work with internal teams to improve the product and service. Hybrid work after six months is available.

Clear Software is looking for a motivated, customer-focused individual to join our team as an Accounting Software Support Specialist.

This is an opportunity to combine your bookkeeping or accounting experience with technology, customer service and problem-solving.

Previous software support experience would be handy but not necessary. We provide internal training and ongoing support. We're looking for someone with the right accounting knowledge, a positive attitude, and a genuine willingness to learn.

About the role

You'll be helping our customers get the most out of our accounting software by answering questions, investigating issues, and guiding users through the software's features and processes.

You'll work closely with customers to resolve enquiries, provide practical solutions, and help users feel confident using our products.

You'll also work alongside our internal team to investigate more complex issues and contribute to improving our software and customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing prompt, friendly and effective customer support via phone and email.

Troubleshooting software issues and helping customers find solutions.

Guiding customers through software features and accounting processes.

Assisting with the customer onboarding and software training.

Maintaining accurate records of customer enquiries and resolutions.

Working with internal teams to elevate and resolve complex issues.

Updating help documentation and knowledge base articles.

Testing software updates and new features, and reporting any issues identified.

Bookkeeping or accounting experience:
