Preston Corporate Accounting Pty Ltd in Perth is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to handle IAS/BAS, Xero setup, end of month reconciliations and client support. The role is on-site with a focus on accuracy, processes, and client service.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in bookkeeping, strong knowledge of Australian GST, Payroll and Superannuation, and holds a Cert IV in Bookkeeping (Diploma preferred). Part-time or 4 days per week possible.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years bookkeeping experience, ideally with some in public practice.
• Xero Guru who enjoys learning and keeping up to date
• Experience with Xero and MYOB, GST, Payroll and Superannuation
• Interest in creating efficient processes and client support
• On-site role with flexible hours (part-time or ~4 days)

Due to the nature of the role, our clients love to call us, clients coming in for training, meetings, being available for documents to be dropped off etc, this is an on site role.

You will fit perfectly into the team if you:

• Have a solid grounding in bookkeeping with a minimum of 3 years diverse experience, ideally with some in public practice
• Love technology and you are a Xero Guru who enjoys learning and keeping up to date
• Have worked with both Xero / MYOB
• Have a great understanding of Australian accounting and GST, Payroll and Superannuation
• Focus on getting it right and getting it done
• Have a genuine interest in helping clients and be able to build rapport
• Enjoy creating easy to use, processes and systems
• Have a minimum of a Cert IV in Bookkeeping (ideally a Diploma of Accounting) it is desirable you also have a minimum of a Cert IV in Payroll
• Enjoy problem solving, troubleshooting and providing help desk style support
• Have excellent time management and oral and written communication skills
• Are looking to work part time (or at least 4 days per week) - Possibility for full time.

The bookkeeping parts to this role will be varied in nature and keep you busy including:

Software Requirements

• Xero (Expert level) - (plus Xero Practice Manager is desirable)
