Job summary

Employment Hero is seeking an Accountant to join our finance team in a fast-paced, remote-first environment. You will work with the Finance Manager and other accountants to manage day-to-day accounting, including reconciliations, journals, and accruals, with exposure to inter-company and FX transactions.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in a similar role, is studying CA/CPA or planning to start, and holds a degree in Finance or Accounting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar accounting/bookkeeping role.
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile, journalise, and manage accruals.
• Currently studying CA/CPA or planning to start.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile daily bank accounts across global entities.
• Reconcile company credit cards and spend platforms.
• Support Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes.
• Prepare journals including prepayments, accruals, depreciation, intercompany issues.
• Own the Fixed Assets Register and month-end reconciliations.
• Assist external audits and optimise accounting processes.
