Highview Accounting Bass Coast Pty is inviting an experienced Accountant to join our Victoria team. The role can be full time or part time (minimum 20 hours per week) with flexible hours and hybrid working arrangements to suit your lifestyle and career goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA/CA in progress or completed.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Australian Public Practice Accounting.
• Solid understanding of tax issues such as Division 7A, GST, and FBT.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts and companies.
• Assist in the preparation and implementation of tax planning strategies and initiatives with guidance from manager.
• Liaise with clients to assist with answering their queries.
• Liaise with the ATO and other third parties on behalf of the client when required.

About You
