Job summary

Bentley Recruitment in Brisbane is seeking an experienced accounting professional to support Directors and Managers with a diverse client portfolio across medical, construction, property development and retail sectors.

You will prepare financial statements, BAS and income tax returns, contribute to tax planning strategies, and join client meetings to deepen advisory exposure, all while benefiting from flexible hours and study leave opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous Australian public practice accounting experience.
• Currently undertaking CA/CPA (or willing to undertake).
• Excellent communication skills and high attention to detail.

About the Role

Assist the Director and Accounting Manager with their client portfolio consisting of a variety of clients from various industries including but not limited to medical, construction, property development, and retail.

• Prepare financial statements, BAS and income tax returns for a diverse client base.
• Assist with preparing tax planning strategies.
• Attend client meetings alongside Directors and Managers, gaining direct exposure to client relationships and advisory discussions.

About You

• Previous Australian public practice accounting experience
• Currently undertaking CA/CPA (or willing to undertake)
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Experience with Xero preferred but not essential
