Job summary

BlueScope Distribution in Kewdale, Perth, is looking for an Account Manager who enjoys people, is keen to learn, and wants to build a long-term career. You’ll manage an established portfolio of customers, develop relationships, and help businesses find the right steel and aluminium solutions.

You don’t need extensive sales experience; attitude and potential to grow are valued. The role offers development, a supportive team, and opportunities across manufacturing, mining and defence sectors.

Responsibilities

• Manage an established portfolio of customers across the Perth metropolitan area.
• Develop relationships, understand customer needs and help select steel/aluminium solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts and support new business growth.
• Visit customer sites and learn about their business requirements.
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Maintain customer activity and opportunities within the CRM system.
• Develop account plans and sales strategies, including pricing discussions.
