Job summary

Kaffeina Group Pty Ltd in Melbourne seeks an Account Manager - Specialty Coffee Roaster to nurture cafe relationships, drive new business, deliver barista training and provide hands-on equipment support.

You will visit cafés, demonstrate our coffee and gear, and coordinate with roasting and service teams to ensure exceptional quality and service across customer venues. This role offers growth in a dynamic specialty coffee business based in Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience in specialty coffee, cafés, hospitality or related industry.
• Some experience in account management or sales within food service is preferred.
• Strong practical barista skills including espresso, grinder adjustment and milk texturing.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing café customers and regularly visit them to ensure satisfaction with coffee, equipment, and service.
• Identify opportunities to improve coffee consistency, customer experience, and café performance; respond to inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop new accounts, generate leads, arrange meetings, and present our coffee and equipment solutions; manage opportunities through to conversion.
• Provide practical barista training and ongoing support to café teams; advise on espresso recipes, grinder settings, extraction and milk preparation.
• Carry out basic espresso machine checks and minor maintenance; calibrate grinders and coordinate repairs with service technicians.
