Vibe is a Sydney-based design agency specializing in brand and packaging design. We’re hiring an Account Manager to lead a key Sydney account, nurturing client relationships while guiding creative teams through briefs, timelines and budgets.

You’ll balance client objectives with creative ambition, grow the account, and contribute to revenue targets in a hybrid role with remuneration based on experience.

Qualifications

• Five years’ Client Services experience within FMCG packaging/brand design agency is essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to manage budgets and revenue forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and understand client business, brand strategy and marketing objectives.
• Lead projects from brief to delivery, manage quotations, client and studio briefings, design refinements, and final tools and deliverables.
• Translate objectives into clear briefs and communicate feedback constructively while keeping creative work aligned with the brief.
• Oversee project budgets, revenue forecasts, final quotations and invoicing; work toward monthly sales targets.
• Grow the account by identifying new opportunities within the client relationship and collaborating with the wider team.

At Vibe, strong client partnerships and great creative work go hand in hand. We're looking for an experienced Account Managerto lead a key account for our Sydney team, working alongside engaging, experienced designers to deliver creative and adaptive design projects.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding a client's business, bringing clarity to a brief and keeping projects moving - without losing sight of the creative ambition or commercial detail.

Our work brings together brand and packaging design, creative development and adaptive design. You'll join a connected team where client services, designers and artwork specialists work closely together to turn client objectives into well-executed creative outcomes.

Your role

Reporting to the Managing Director, you'll be the primary contact for a key Vibe Sydney account, taking ownership of the client relationship and its associated projects.

You'll work closely with our design and artwork teams, balancing client expectations, creative objectives, project delivery and account performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Building trusted client relationships. Understand your client's business, brand strategy and marketing objectives, providing informed packaging design guidance with the support of our design team.

• Leading projects from brief to delivery. Manage quotations, client and studio briefings, design refinement rounds and the release of final design toolboxes and deliverables.

• Connecting clients and creatives. Translate objectives into clear briefs, communicate feedback constructively and help ensure creative and adaptive design work stays aligned with the brief.

• Managing the commercial detail. Oversee project budgets, revenue forecasts, final quotations and invoicing, while working towards monthly sales targets.

• Growing the account. Take a proactive approach to identifying new opportunities within the client relationship and developing these with the wider Vibe team.

What you'll bring

A minimum of five years' Client Services experience within an FMCG packaging and brand design agency is essential.

You’ll understand how a design agency works and be comfortable managing both client relationships and the detail involved in delivering creative projects.

We're looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, sound financial judgement and confidence managing budgets and revenue forecasts. You'll be organised, collaborative and able to balance multiple priorities while keeping clients and internal teams informed.
