Job summary

Vulcan, Australasia’s leading metals distributor and processor, is seeking a results-oriented sales professional. You will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and analyse market data to inform strategic decisions.

Based in the North Beach region of Australia, you will collaborate with internal teams to maximize client outcomes and cross-sell Vulcan services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sales (B2B or trade sales preferred).
• Knowledge of steel or metal products or construction/engineering industries is advantageous.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.

• Having an in-depth understanding of Vulcan services in order to cross sell

Requirements

• Proven experience in sales (B2B or trade sales preferred), or a background in fabrication or the trades
• Knowledge of steel or metal products, or the construction and engineering industries, is an advantage
• Sound communication and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build rapport with new and existing clients
