Job summary

Coates Hire Operations Pty Limited is seeking an Account Manager to own a dedicated Geraldton territory, visiting sites, building relationships and identifying growth opportunities. You will manage customer accounts, plan your schedule and drive results across a road-based, field-facing role.

Success comes from proactive planning, strong stakeholder engagement and delivering value through solutions. A self-motivated, organised approach and willingness to travel are essential.

• Experience managing and growing B2B customer accounts.
• Proven ability to build relationships and drive revenue growth.
• Commercial confidence to negotiate value and hit sales targets.
• Strong planning, organisation and pipeline management.
• Ability to understand customer operations and propose value solutions.

• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer meetings.

At Coates, we're looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of a dedicated territory across the Geraldton region.

You'll spend most of your time out with customers, visiting sites, building relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the business. This is a role for someone who enjoys being on the road, planning their own schedule and taking accountability for results.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory, supported by a recognised brand, industry-leading equipment and a strong operational team. Success comes from planning ahead, maintaining consistent customer engagement and following opportunities through to outcomes. You'll know where you're going each week, who you're meeting with and what opportunities you're working towards.

What you'll bring

• Experience managing and growing customer accounts in a B2B sales environment
• A strong track record of building relationships, identifying opportunities and converting them into revenue growth
• Commercial confidence, with the ability to negotiate value, manage opportunities and achieve sales targets
• Strong planning, organisation and pipeline management skills
• The ability to understand customer operations, identify customer needs and propose solutions that deliver value
• A self-driven approach with the discipline to plan ahead, stay organised and follow opportunities through to completion
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative mindset
• A current driver's licence and willingness to travel to customer meetings
