The University of Melbourne is seeking an Academic Support Officer to support flagship psychiatry training programmes and ensure seamless course administration for an excellent student experience. You will collaborate with academic and clinical stakeholders, manage digital platforms, and contribute to continuous improvement in teaching delivery.

You will deliver high-level administrative support, maintain Canvas subjects and enrolments, monitor student fees via Magento, and coordinate teaching

Qualificações

• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent combination of education, training, and administrative experience.
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• High-level communication skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience using LMS, Zoom, and Microsoft Office to support teaching and administration.
• Understanding privacy and data management principles in an educational context.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high-level administrative support for course promotion, preparation, timetabling, and correspondence.
• Maintain and update Canvas subjects, enrolments, and weekly class setup for online delivery.
• Monitor and manage student fees using Magento and collect data for reporting.
• Coordinate teaching-related events, including annual awards, and induct supervisors and students in systems and technology.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in course delivery and support the education team in daily operations.
